Published guides
An installer who messages your WhatsApp number gets the guides your team has checked and published, whatever the hour: Lingo asks which product and variant they have, then sends the fix as numbered steps.
In the hours you set
Your technical team
A request for a person reaches your team by email. You set the opening hours and holidays, and write the message an installer gets outside them. Your team replies in the same conversation, with the earlier messages visible. WhatsApp allows a reply within 24 hours of the installer’s last message, so a request made on a weekday evening can be answered the next morning.

You set the hours, the holidays and the message.
Opening hours and holidays are settings your team keeps. The out-of-hours message is yours to write: say when you open, and ask the installer to message again then if the matter is still live.
Each conversation is kept with the installer’s name and number, the product and the guide used, so your team can read what was asked while you were closed. Pricing is by the number of products, with no limit on installers or conversations.
Questions manufacturers ask about out-of-hours cover
What do installers get when our line is closed?
The guides your team has published, on WhatsApp, at any hour: the question about which product and variant, then the numbered steps. Your people answer in the hours you set.
What does an installer get if they ask for a person at night?
The out-of-hours message your team has written. Your team is notified by email and replies in the same WhatsApp conversation when you open. WhatsApp allows a reply within 24 hours of the installer’s last message, so a request made on a weekday evening can be answered the next morning. After a weekend or a holiday, your out-of-hours message can ask the installer to message again when you open.
How is out-of-hours use priced?
The same as any other use. Lingo is priced by the number of products you support, from £500 a month for five products, with no setup fee and no limit on installers or conversations.
